Oxygen (also known as O2) is commercially produced by cryogenic distillation in air separation plants. It is also produced on a commercial scale from air by vacuum swing adsorption (VSA) processes. Oxygen is mainly used in fuels combustion to supply heat, light, and power, as well as in oxygenation processes.
Intratec offers professional, easy-to-understand reports examining Oxygen production. Each study describes an industrial plant, including main process units and site infrastructure, and presents an independent analysis of capital and operating costs. All reports are based on the most recent economic data available (2018/19).
