Cookie Policy
Effective on October 1, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how Intratec Solutions, LLC ("Intratec", "we", "us") uses cookies and similar technologies on www.intratec.us. It describes what each of them does, how long it lasts, who sets it, and how you can accept, refuse or withdraw your consent at any time. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser when you visit it. They let the website recognize your browser on later pages or later visits, keep you signed in, remember your choices and measure how the website is used.
Websites can also store information in your browser in other ways, such as local storage, or load small pieces of code from other companies that do the same. In this policy we call all of these "cookies and similar technologies", and we describe them in the same way: what they do, how long they last and who sets them.
Some cookies are set by us ("first-party cookies"). Others are set by the companies whose services we use on our website ("third-party cookies"). A cookie that lasts only until you close your browser is a session cookie; a cookie that lasts longer is a persistent cookie.
How do we use cookies?
We use a small number of cookies that are strictly necessary for the website to work. They keep your session and your sign-in, protect the website, and remember the choice you made in our cookie banner. These cookies are always active, because the website cannot work without them.
All other cookies are optional. We set them only after you agree to them, and only for the categories you agree to:
- Functional cookies make our live chat work across pages and visits.
- Analytics cookies help us understand how visitors use the website, through Google Analytics.
- Marketing and advertising cookies measure whether our advertising on Google, Microsoft and LinkedIn led to a visit or a purchase, let our marketing platform recognize your browser across visits, and let embedded videos from YouTube and Vimeo play.
Before you make a choice, no optional cookie is set. Google's tags may still send basic, cookieless signals that tell Google a page was viewed and that consent was not given; they carry no cookie and do not identify your browser.
We also measure the overall audience of the website with Plausible Analytics. Plausible runs from our own domain, sets no cookie, stores nothing in your browser and does not identify you, so it is active for every visitor.
When you make a choice in the cookie banner, we keep a record of it so that we can show what you agreed to and when. The record holds a random identifier, the categories you accepted or rejected, the time, the version of this notice you saw and the website you were on. If your browser still carries the identifier of the consent tool we used before, the record also holds that identifier, so that your earlier choice and your new one can be matched. The record holds no name, no email address and no IP address, and we keep it for three years.
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a refusal of analytics and of marketing and advertising cookies, without you having to click anything.
Types of cookies we use
Necessary
Necessary cookies are required for the basic features of this website: keeping your session and your sign-in, protecting the website, and remembering your cookie choice. They do not store any information that identifies you personally, and they cannot be switched off in our cookie banner.

|---|---|---|---|
| Session cookie (a 32-character name) | Intratec | Session | Keeps your visit together as you move between pages, and keeps you signed in when you log in. |

| cc_cookie | Intratec | 182 days | Remembers the categories of cookies you accepted or rejected, so we do not ask again on every page. |
Functional
Functional cookies let features such as our live chat work. They are set only if you accept the Functional category.
| Cookie | Set by | Duration | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
| cw_conversation | Intratec (Chatwoot live chat, hosted on our own domain) | 1 year | Lets you continue a chat conversation on other pages and when you come back. |

| _ga_<container-id> | Google Analytics | 2 years | Keeps the state of your current visit. |
Marketing and advertising
Marketing and advertising cookies measure whether our advertising led to a visit or a purchase, let our marketing platform recognize your browser across visits, and allow embedded videos to play. They are set only if you accept the Marketing and advertising category.
| Cookie | Set by | Duration | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
| _gcl_au | Google Ads | 90 days | Measures whether a click on one of our Google ads led to a visit or a purchase. |

| MUID | Microsoft (on bing.com) | 13 months | Identifies the browser to Microsoft's advertising services. |

Embedded videos
Some pages show videos hosted by YouTube or Vimeo. The video player sets its own cookies only when you choose to play a video.
| Cookie | Set by | Duration | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
| YSC | YouTube | Session | Checks that the requests during your visit come from you. |
| VISITOR_INFO1_LIVE, __Secure-YNID | YouTube | 6 months | Used by YouTube for security, advertising and statistics. |
| __Secure-YENID | YouTube | 13 months | Used by YouTube for the same purposes. |
| vuid | Vimeo | 2 years | Counts views of the video for its owner. |
Other technologies we use
Some services store information in your browser's local storage instead of in a cookie. Local storage works like a cookie but has no expiry date: it stays until the service removes it or you clear it in your browser. These items follow the same rules as the cookies above: the marketing items are stored only if you accept the Marketing and advertising category.
| Item | Set by | Category | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
| ajs_anonymous_id, ajs_user_id, customerIOAnonymousId, gist.web.* | Customer.io | Marketing and advertising | The same identifiers as the Customer.io cookie, and the settings of its on-site messages. |
| _gcl_ls | Google Ads | Marketing and advertising | Keeps the information about an ad click, as the _gcl_au cookie does. |
| _uetsid, _uetvid and their expiry keys | Microsoft Advertising | Marketing and advertising | The same identifiers as the Microsoft cookies above. |
| li_adsId | Marketing and advertising | A pseudonymous identifier LinkedIn uses to measure our ads. | |
| Viewer items | FlippingBook | Necessary | When you open a report sample, the FlippingBook viewer stores only what it needs to display the publication. |
| Respondent identifier | Tally | Necessary | When you submit one of our forms, Tally may store an identifier to prevent the same form being sent twice. |
Manage cookie preferences
You can change your choice at any time with the Cookie Preferences link at the bottom of every page. On a phone, you can also use the round cookie button at the bottom left of the screen. Withdrawing your consent is as easy as giving it, and it takes effect at once; it does not affect what happened while your consent was in place. When you withdraw a category, we remove the cookies of that category that our website can remove. Cookies set on another company's domain, such as bing.com or linkedin.com, can only be removed in your browser.
You can also block or delete cookies and local storage in your browser. If you block the necessary cookies, parts of the website, such as signing in, will not work. The major browsers explain how:
- Chrome: https://support.google.com/accounts/answer/32050
- Safari: https://support.apple.com/guide/safari/manage-cookies-sfri11471/mac
- Firefox: https://support.mozilla.org/kb/clear-cookies-and-site-data-firefox

Changes to this policy
When we change this policy, we publish the new version on this page with the date from which it takes effect. When we add a new purpose or service that needs your consent, our cookie banner asks you again.
