Privacy Policy
Effective on October 1, 2026
Intratec Solutions, LLC ("Intratec", "we", "us") provides data and reports on commodity prices, production costs and industry economics to businesses. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect when you use our website, www.intratec.us, and our related services, why we collect it, who we share it with, how long we keep it, and the choices and rights you have.
In short: we collect what we need to run your account, deliver what you buy, answer you, keep the website secure and, with your consent, measure our marketing. We do not sell your personal information. You can ask us at any time to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you.
Who we are
Intratec Solutions, LLC, 21750 Hardy Oak Blvd, Suite 104, San Antonio, TX 78258-4946, United States, is responsible for the personal information described in this policy. You can reach us about privacy at
This policy covers our website and the services we provide through it. It does not cover other companies' websites that we link to; their own policies apply there.
Information we collect
Information you give us. When you create an account, we collect your name, your business email address, your password and the other details the registration form asks for. When you sign in, we may also ask for a verification code sent to your email address. When you buy a report or a subscription, we collect the details of your order, such as the products, your billing name, company and address. When you fill in one of our forms, write to us by email or use our live chat, we collect what you send us, including your name and email address if you give them.
Payment information. Payments are processed by FastSpring, which acts as our reseller and payment processor. You give your card or bank details directly to FastSpring. We do not receive or store your full card number.
Information collected automatically. When you visit our website, our servers and our service providers receive technical information that your browser sends with every request, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you request and the time of the request. If an error occurs on a page, our error-reporting service receives a report of the error, which includes your IP address and browser details. We also measure the overall audience of the website in a way that uses no cookies and does not identify you.
Cookies and similar technologies. With your consent, we and our partners use cookies and similar technologies for live chat, analytics and advertising measurement. Our Cookie Policy lists each of them, explains what they do and how long they last, and tells you how to change your choice.
Your cookie choices. When you make a choice in our cookie banner, we keep a record of it: a random identifier, the categories you accepted or rejected, the time, the version of the notice you saw and the website you were on. If your browser still carries the identifier of the consent tool we used before, we keep that identifier with the record, so that we can match your earlier choice to your new one. We also keep the records of choices made in that earlier tool, without IP addresses. These records hold no name and no email address.
Information from other sources. We may collect business contact information that is publicly available, such as a person's name, role and company, when we look for organizations that may be interested in our services.
How we use your information
We use your information to:
- create and manage your account, and let you sign in securely;
- process your orders and deliver the reports, data and services you buy;
- answer your questions and requests, and provide support;
- send you information about our products, studies and offers, where you have agreed to it or where the law allows us to write to business contacts, and always with a way to unsubscribe;
- understand how our website is used and improve it;
- measure whether our advertising led to visits or purchases, if you have accepted marketing and advertising cookies;
- protect our website and our customers against fraud, abuse and security threats, and fix errors;
- keep the records that tax, accounting and other laws require, and enforce our terms.
We do not make decisions about you that are based only on automated processing and that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.
Legal bases for using your information
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, the law requires us to explain the legal basis for each use of your information:
- Contract: to create and run your account, process your orders and deliver what you buy.
- Consent: for optional cookies and similar technologies, and for marketing messages where consent is required. You can withdraw your consent at any time; this does not affect what we did before you withdrew it.
- Legitimate interests: to keep the website secure, fix errors, measure our audience without cookies, answer your questions, and tell business contacts about our services. We use your information on this basis only where our interest is not outweighed by your rights, and you can object at any time.
- Legal obligation: to keep tax and accounting records and to respond to lawful requests.
How we share your information
We share personal information only with the companies that help us run our business, and only what each of them needs to do its job for us:
- Hosting, security and delivery: Amazon Web Services, which hosts our website and our files, and Cloudflare, which delivers and protects the website.
- Payments: FastSpring, which processes payments and acts as our reseller.
- Customer communication: Customer.io, which we use to send emails and to understand which of our communications are useful; Tally, which hosts our contact and request forms; and Chatwoot, our live chat software, which runs on our own servers.
- Error reporting and audience measurement: Sentry, which receives reports when a page fails, and Plausible Analytics, which counts visits without cookies.
- Analytics and advertising, with your consent: Google, Microsoft and LinkedIn, which receive information through the cookies described in our Cookie Policy.
- Records of cookie choices: Supabase, which hosts the database where we keep those records.
- Content you choose to open: FlippingBook, which displays our report samples, and YouTube and Vimeo, which play embedded videos.
We may also disclose information when the law requires it, to respond to a court order or other lawful request, to enforce our agreements, or to protect the rights and safety of Intratec, our customers or others. If Intratec is merged with or acquired by another company, your information may be transferred to the new owner, who will remain bound by this policy for the information it receives.
We do not sell your personal information. We use advertising cookies from Google, Microsoft and LinkedIn to measure our own advertising, only if you accept them. You can refuse or withdraw that consent at any time with the Cookie Preferences link at the bottom of every page, and we treat a Global Privacy Control signal from your browser as a refusal.
International transfers
Intratec is based in the United States, and most of our service providers process information in the United States. Tally stores form submissions in the European Union. If you are outside the United States, your information is therefore transferred to and processed in a country whose data protection laws may differ from those of your country. Where the law requires a safeguard for this transfer, we rely on the safeguards our service providers offer, such as the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.
How long we keep your information
We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes described above:
- Account information: while your account is active, and for up to two years after it was last used. After that, we delete it or make it anonymous.
- Orders and invoices: for as long as tax and accounting law requires.
- Correspondence, form submissions and chat conversations: while your account is active, or for up to two years after your last message if you have no account, so that we have the history if you contact us again.
- Marketing contacts: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete your information, or until two years have passed without you opening or responding to our messages.
- Records of cookie choices, including those made in our earlier consent tool: three years from the time of the choice.
- Cookies: for the periods listed in our Cookie Policy.
We may keep information longer when the law requires it, or when we need it to establish or defend a legal claim. Information that has been made anonymous and no longer identifies you may be kept for statistics.
How we protect your information
We protect your information with reasonable technical and organizational measures. Our website is served only over encrypted connections, access to personal information is limited to the people who need it for their work, and sign-in can require a verification code. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your information and to act quickly if something goes wrong.
Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- ask whether we hold personal information about you, and receive a copy of it;
- correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete;
- ask us to delete your information;
- receive the information you gave us in a common, machine-readable format, or ask us to send it to another company;
- object to our use of your information based on legitimate interests, and to direct marketing at any time;
- ask us to restrict our use of your information while a question about it is resolved;
- withdraw any consent you have given, at any time;
- opt out of the use of your information for targeted advertising.

You can also unsubscribe from our marketing emails with the link in every email, and change your cookie choices at any time with the Cookie Preferences link at the bottom of every page.
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, you have the right to complain to the data protection authority where you live, where you work or where you believe your rights were infringed. If you are a resident of Texas, you may contact the Texas Attorney General. We would appreciate the chance to address your concern first.
Children
Our website and services are intended for businesses and professionals. They are not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If we learn that we have collected such information, we delete it.
Links to other websites
Our website contains links to websites that we do not operate. This policy does not apply to them, and we are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices. We encourage you to read the privacy policy of every website you visit.
Changes to this policy
When we change this policy, we publish the new version on this page with the date from which it takes effect. If a change significantly affects how we use information you have already given us, we also tell registered users by email before it takes effect.
