Currently, more than 95% of commercial methanol is synthetically produced from synthesis gas, or syngas, which is a mixture of hydrogen and carbon monoxide.
Methacrylic Acid. Methacrylic Acid is a highly reactive monomer used in the production of polymers, adhesives, and coatings. It provides excellent resistance and flexibility in various applications, including paints and textiles. Methacrylic acid is produced through the oxidation of isobutylene.
