The term Butene (also known as Butylene) may refer to a range of linear isomeric olefins (1-butene, cis-2-butene, trans-2-butene) formed from petroleum cracking for gasoline production or catalytic dehydrogenation of butanes. Butenes are mainly used as alkylate and polymer gasoline, in fuel applications, and as co-monomers in the production of some polymers.
Intratec offers professional, easy-to-understand reports examining Butene production. Each study describes an industrial plant, including main process units and site infrastructure, and presents an independent analysis of capital and operating costs. All reports are based on the most recent economic data available (2019/20).
