This report presents an up-to-date, detailed cost analysis of Syngas production from mixed plastic waste via a gasification process. In this process, a mixture of LDPE, PET, PP and other plastics, which was recovered as waste, is mechanically sorted, agglomerated and then is sent to a gasifier, where it is converted to syngas. In parallel, another part of the sorted mixture is sent to pyrolysis for synthetic crude oil (syncrude) and fuel gas generation.
