It is manufactured on commercial scale mainly by the digestion of phosphate rocks with sulfuric acid, in the so-called “wet-process”. Phosphoric acid is primarily used in agriculture, as both fertilizer and animal feed supplement.</p> <h6>Raw Material</h6> <p><b>Phosphorus</b>. Phosphorus is a reactive element used in fertilizers, flame retardants, and the production of phosphoric acid. Its role in agriculture as a key nutrient for plant growth makes it critical for global food production. Phosphorus is extracted from phosphate rock and is stored as a solid or liquid depending on its application. Its role in various industries is vital for both agriculture and chemical production.</p>
