Linear Low Density Polyethylene (LLDPE) is one of the three main types of polyethylene, being a copolymer of ethylene and alpha-olefins. It is mainly used in films (mostly in trash bags), injection molded products, pipe and tubing, among other applications. LLDPE is manufactured on commercial scale by gas-phase fluidized-bed polymerization, polymerization in solution, polymerization in a polymer melt under very high ethylene pressure, and slurry polymerization.
Intratec offers professional, easy-to-understand reports examining LLDPE production. Each study describes an industrial plant, including main process units and site infrastructure, and presents an independent analysis of capital and operating costs. All reports are based on the most recent economic data available (2019/20).
