About this Solution

Each Commodity Production Costs report is an independent study of what it costs to manufacture a single commodity through one production process — the capital expenditures (Capex) to build the plant and the operating expenditures (Opex) to run it.

The report details how the commodity is produced, the plant and equipment behind it, and the raw materials, utilities, and labor it consumes. The result is a clear view of production economics — one you can take straight into an investment screen, a feasibility study, a competitor cost model, or a research plan.

Drawing on a methodology refined over 20 years, we've built a library of reports spanning a wide range of technologies — from mature to emerging, petrochemical to green — across 10 industries. We offer three ways to get these reports: an annual subscription by industry, individual off-the-shelf reports, or bespoke reports developed on demand.

Frequently Asked Questions

Intratec Commodity Production Costs reports maintain a consistent structure and depth of content, making it beneficial to explore full samples. These samples provide insights into the content depth, included analyses, and various graphical and tabular representations, along with the development methodology.

Intratec does not sell report excerpts separately. Only whole reports are available for purchase in three editions: compact, detailed, and premium. Significant portions of the reports are interconnected to fully explain concepts and assumptions used throughout the study.

The companion report is an add-on to the premium Commodity Production Costs report, focusing on capital and operating costs tailored to a customer's specified industrial plant location. It features local cost data, mirrors the main report structure, contains around 25 pages and 10 tables, and is delivered as a separate PDF file.

Customers who purchased premium editions of Intratec Commodity Production Costs are eligible for email-based Technical Support. This includes responses within 3 business days, available for 21 days post-report delivery, and is limited to 4 man-hours, equating to 6 specific questions about the report.

Intratec reports can only be shared internally based on the edition purchased. The Compact Edition allows sharing within the same country, the Detailed Edition permits sharing without geographic limits within the same institution, and the Premium Edition allows sharing among co-workers in the same business group without restrictions.

Payments at Intratec can be made via Credit Cards (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express), Bank Transfers, and PayPal, depending on the customer's country. All transactions are processed securely by FastSpring, and payment confirmation is required before product delivery. Additional fees may apply for bank transfers as they take longer to process.

You can easily upgrade the edition of your report after purchase. The upgrade fee will be the difference between the prices of the selected editions. To upgrade, log in to your account, select "My Products," find the report to upgrade, and follow the prompts to complete the process.
