Tanespimycin Production
This report presents the economics of the production of Tanespimycin production from corn in the United States, via a typical fermentation process. Initially, corn starch is converted to glucose by alpha amylase. The glucose generated is then fermented to geldanamycin. Finally, geldanamycin is converted to Tanespimycin.
