Copper Price Outlook
Copper Price Outlook. The price of Copper (United States) increased during June 2025 to 10,700 USD per metric ton, which represents a slight rise of 4% compared to the previous month’s value. On a year-over-year basis, the prices of Copper (United States) increased significantly by 7%. Meanwhile, the average price of Copper (China) amounted to 10,900 USD per metric ton, from 10,800 USD per metric ton one year earlier. On a month-over-month basis, the price of Copper (China) was flat.
The price of Copper (South America) was flat throughout June 2025. The price remained the same when compared to the average price in the previous month and 2% higher than the average price one year before. In contrast, the prices of Copper (Global) increased modestly during June 2025, reaching 9,740 USD per metric ton, which means a rise of 2% from the previous month’s price and a rise of 0.8% from the previous year’s price.
