Cyclohexane is a relatively stable cycloalkane, present in crude oils in concentrations of 0.1–1.0%. This cycloparaffin is a colourless, flammable liquid, widely used as an intermediate in nylon manufacturing. It is comprised of a ring of six carbon atoms and has a gasoline-like odor. Cyclohexane is soluble in ether, alcohol, chlorinated/aromatic solvents and insoluble in water.

Intratec offers professional, easy-to-understand reports examining Cyclohexane production. Each study describes an industrial plant, including main process units and site infrastructure, and presents an independent analysis of capital and operating costs. All reports are based on the most recent economic data available (Q2 2019).

You can find below reports focused on Cyclohexane production processes available in report subscriptions offered by Intratec.

Cyclohexane from Benzene and Hydrogen - Cost Analysis | Cyclohexane E11A
