Do you offer a free trial of a paid subscription plan?

Anyone interested in our utilities cost data can check plenty of free samples. We present, for every utility in our database, a 24-month historical series as sample of our cost data.

So we believe that anyone interested in utilities cost data is able to decide whether or not to subscribe by checking the free samples available, in such a way that we do not offer free trials of subscription plans.

I am interested in just part of the data...Can I subscribe to access just the data I need, for a discounted subscription fee?

No, you can not. We offer no subscription plans for accessing specific utility(ies) from our database. You must necesseraly choose among the subscription plans available in the page of the utility of your interest.

Where does the utilities cost data presented came from?

The cost figures presented in the charts represent estimates of the operating costs of systems employed for generating the respective utility. Such costs vary according to the utility (Chilled Water, Cooling Water, Demineralized Water, Process Water, Nitrogen, Oxygen, Coal, Compressed Air, Electricity, Natural Gas, Steam).

On the other hand, utilities price figures presented in the charts consist of estimates for the values paid by an industrial customer for utilities supplied by off-site facilities.

How often are the data to which I subscribed refreshed? When is such data updated?

The utilities cost data presented is refreshed on a monthly basis, as new information is obtained. However, it is important to highlight that the frequency which specific regional data is actually updated depends on how often official sources from countries from those regions report that data.

In this context, by the end of each month - typically in the second or third week -, Intratec team updates utilities cost data with data of the previous month.

If I subscribe, how will I access that data? Will you send me reports?

Subscribers access the data they have subscribed for through online charts presented at the respective utility page, at Intratec website. Naturally, the subscriber must be logged in Intratec website (using the same email and password of the subscription) to access the data.

Subscribers of the Pro and Business plans may download data in PDF, Excel and CSV formats, and chart images in PNG format.

Subscribers of the Business plan, exclusively, receive every month data in Excel format, delivered via email.

In this context, Intratec does not send reports about utilities cost data.

If I subscribe, when will I be charged?

The payments for all subscription plans are made on an annual basis.

Kindly note that refunds related to utilities cost data subscriptions are NOT provided.

How can I pay for a subscription? What payment methods are available?

Payments for all subscriptions can be made with credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, JCB and American Express). Please note that credit cards from outside USA must be enabled for international transactions (in US dollars).

Payments for Pro and Business plans may be made via PayPal.

Finally, payments for Business Plans, exclusively, can be made via purchase order or wire transfer for an additional fee of USD 199. Such fee is charged for processing specific requirements, since any offline sale demands additional time/resources from our sales team.

How do I cancel my subscription and what happens if I do?

Our customers are entitled to cancel subscription plans at any time, whenever they want. Once you cancel your subscription, you will continue to have access to the data of your subscription plan until the end of your current billing period.

To cancel a subscription, you should follow the steps below:

  • Login at www.intratec.us with your email and password (top-menu)
  • Once logged on, you must click on "Your Account" (top-menu)
  • Click on the button "Your Data"
  • Click on the button "Subscription Management"
  • Then, you should see a list of all of your subscriptions on our website, just click on the cancel link of the plan you are willing to cancel.

Intratec team proceeds with the cancellation within 2 business days. Upon cancellation, an email will be sent confirming that the recurring billing is interrupted.

Please note that refunds related to Intratec Indexes & Pricing Data subscriptions are NOT provided.

Can I ask questions about the data for which I subscribed?

Yes! ‘Business Plan’ subscribers are entitled to technical support, who will provide answers to questions about the data they subscribed for! The technical support is provided as follows:

  • Responses provided exclusively via Email
  • Responses provided by Intratec support team in 3 business days
  • Available while the subscription is active
  • Support limited to 2 man-hours from Intratec Experts (equivalent to 3 specific questions about the report and optional analyses ordered) per Quarter

It must be highlighted that the technical support is only available for subscribers to the ‘Business Plan’.
