Process Plant Cost Indexes

Intratec Process Plant Cost Indexes (IC Indexes) are based on prices trends of fundamental components of an industrial plant construction such as labor, material, energy and inflation, from several countries.

Intratec's methodology for calculating IC Indexes involves combining a series of specific and general price indexes, evaluated by Intratec consultant's as fundamental for the construction of industrial plants, to reasonably reflect their relative importance.

If you need plant cost indexes for other countries, not covered in our database, you may submit the request form available at www.intratec.us/services/chemical-industry-data. In this case, our experts may work to provide exactly the data you need. They will provide you with a quotation for this the data you need in no more than 2 business days. Of course, since this would be a customized data set, not available in our online database, the quotation for providing the data you need shall be higher than our regular subscription fees.

The plant cost indexes are refreshed on a monthly basis, as new information is obtained. However, it is important to highlight that the frequency which specific regional data is actually updated depends on how often official sources from countries from those regions report that data.

In this context, in the beggining of each month ― typically in the first or second week ― the Intratec team updates plant cost indexes. See the Data Update Schedule.

Subscribers access plant cost indexes through online charts and tables, accessible in the User Area, at Intratec website. Naturally, the subscriber must be logged in Intratec website (using the same email and password of the subscription) to access the data.

Finally, please note that Intratec does not send reports about the data presented.
