For Subscribers

You can easily access the data you subscribed for in Intratec’s User Area, by following the steps below:

  1. Login at www.intratec.us with your email and password (top-menu)
  2. Once logged on, you must click on "Go to User Area" (top-menu)
  3. In the User Area, on the menu option “Your Products”, click on the data you want to access.
  4. Then, in the next page, you should select the chemical/utility/index of your interest, using the dropdown menu right below page title.

If you are a subscriber of a "Business" plan, you can easily download the data you subscribed for in Intratec’s User Area, by following the steps below:

  1. Login at www.intratec.us with your email and password (top-menu)
  2. Once logged on, you must click on "Go to User Area" (top-menu)
  3. In the User Area, on the menu option “Your Products”, click on the database you want to access.
  4. Then, in the next page, select the commodity/specialty/utility/country of your interest. In this same toolbar you will find the 'format' section, select the 'table' format.
  5. A Data Table will load - the download buttons can be found in a toolbar right below the Data Table, just click in one of the available options to start the download.

You can select specific time spans, using the buttons below the chart.  If you are a subscriber of a ‘Pro’ or ‘Business’ plan, you can also change currency, units and time intervals using the chart customization buttons right below the chart.

If you are a subscriber of a ‘Pro’ or ‘Business’ plan, you can change currency, units and time intervals using the customization box right below the chart of your interest, in the User Area.

As a subscriber to one of our Business Plans you are entitled to add other user to your subscription with no additional costs. Just follow the steps below:

  1. Login at www.intratec.us with your email and password (top-menu)
  2. Once logged on, click on “Account” (top-menu) and then on "Subscriptions"
  3. Locate the subscription and click on "Manage Users"
  4. Click on the button "Invite New Users"
  5. Fill the info required and then click on the button "Send Invitations"

Please note that only users from the same company, with the same professional email domain, can be added, and that all users must first create an account at Intratec website.

 

Only Business Subscriptions can be transferred. So if you are the owner of a business subscription, you can easily transfer it by following the instructions provided here.

  1. Login at www.intratec.us with your email and password (top-menu)
  2. Once logged on, click on “Account” (top-menu) and then on "Subscriptions"
  3. Locate the subscription and click on "Manage Users"
  4. Locate the subscription owner and click on "Transfer"
  5. Select the new owner and and click on "Transfer Ownership"

Please note that after you transfer the subscription ownership, you will not be able to: upgrade the subscription, edit billing info, cancel the subscription.

Finally, if you purchased a Standard of Pro Subscription, you mut upgrade it to Business to then transfer it.

If you are the owner of a Business Subscription and need more users, you can easily purchase additional users by following the steps below:

  1. Login at www.intratec.us with your email and password (top-menu)
  2. Once logged on, click on “Account” (top-menu) and then on "Subscriptions"
  3. Locate the subscription and click on "Manage Users"
  4. Click on “Purchase additional user seats” and proceed with the purchase.

Please note that Standard and Pro subscriptions are for individual use only. If you have a Standard of Pro subscription and need more users, please upgrade to Business.

If you are the owner of a subscription, you can easily cancel the subscription by following the steps below:

  1. Login at www.intratec.us with your email and password (top-menu)
  2. Once logged on, you must click on “Account” (top-menu) and then on "Subscriptions"
  3. Locate the subscription and click on "Manage Billing"
  4. Click on the button “Edit”
  5. Under “Subscription Status”, click on "Cancel"

Upon cancellation, an email will be sent confirming that the recurring billing is interrupted. Please note that refunds related to Intratec subscriptions are NOT provided.

The sharing of data from Intratec databases is according to the respective subscription plan of the subscriber, as follows:

The subscriber of a 'Standard' Plan or a 'Pro' Plan is not allowed to share data from Intratec databases. 'Standard' and 'Pro' subscriptions are for individual use only, in such a way that data sharing is not permitted.

The subscriber of a 'Business' Plan can share the data with co-workers from the same institution or corporation, provided that such sharing complies with all the conditions presented at Intratec Terms & Conditions

Please note that price forecasts presented in Intratec’s Chemical Pricing Data are meant to reflect what Intratec considers the most probable scenario for the upcoming nine months, as of the date such forecasts are updated. Put another way, the forecasts presented resulted from specific, ’frozen’ market conditions at the moment they were calculated. In this context, as the market parameters used for calculating the forecasts can change significantly in short periods of time, the forecasts are also updated on a monthly basis.

The data presented in our Databases & Tools is primarily drawn from public sources, and is checked across several sources to verify and ensure integrity. Occasionally a specific public source stops reporting part of the data collected, or inconsistencies in the data are identified, in such a way that Intratec team deems appropriate to discontinue a specific pricing data series.

Please rest assured that, whenever this happens, Intratec team makes every effort to compensate users for such discontinuation, by adding either new pricing data series related to different regions or pricing data of more commodity chemicals.

If you are the owner of a subscription and paid for it using a credit card, you can easily update the payment method by following the steps below:

  1. Login at www.intratec.us with your email and password (top-menu)
  2. Once logged on, click on “Account” (top-menu) and then on "Subscriptions"
  3. Locate the subscription and click on "Manage Billing"
  4. Click on the button “Edit”
  5. In the payment method, click on the link Update
  6. You will be redirected to FastSpring, the payment processor used by Intratec, to update your payment method

Please keep in mind that only subscription owners can manage billing information.

If you are the owner of a subscription, you can easily edit the billing info by following the steps below:

  1. Login at www.intratec.us with your email and password (top-menu)
  2. Once logged on, click on “Account” (top-menu) and then on "Subscriptions"
  3. Locate the subscription and click on "Manage Billing"
  4. Click on the button “Edit” and edit the information as you need

Please keep in mind that only subscription owners can manage billing information.
