    Intratec reports can be delivered in two formats: as online viewable reports, or as downloadable PDF digital files. The delivery format is selected during the report purchase, when the report is added to the cart.

    After Intratec team updates a report ordered, it is made available either for online access or for download in a private area at Intratec website. Reports delivered as online viewable reports will be accessible for 365 days after report delivery, in a private area at Intratec website.

  • For how long will I be able to access reports and extra analyses purchased in the ‘view online’ format?

  • Can I keep accessing reports and extra analyses in the ‘view online’ format after the 365 days period?

  • Do you sell reports without being updated? Can I purchase out-of-date reports from the reports store?

    Intratec's policy is to always provide its customers with relevant and up-to-date Production Cost Reports, which serve as timely and well-founded cost analyses. Therefore, once a customer orders a report, the Intratec team reviews and refreshes market figures and techno-economic parameters presented in that report before delivering it. This way we ensure that our customers will always have up-to-date reports, reviewed in light of relevant references that eventually popped up since the report was first developed.

    In this context, kindly note that Intratec does not sell out-of-date reports.

  • Why are purchased reports not immediately available?

    Intratec's policy is to always provide its customers with truly relevant and reliable information, which enables timely and well-supported decisions. Therefore, once a customer orders a report, the Intratec team refreshes its market figures and techno-economic parameters – this ensures that our customers always have relevant and up-to-date assessments. In this context, the delivery of each report ordered takes 2 - 10 business days from the date of the payment confirmation.

  • I need the report ASAP! What should I do?

    We understand that some customers may be involved in time-sensitive projects, and need Intratec reports with urgency. Precisely for such cases, we offer express (or rush) update options, in which we allocate more resources to update the report ordered on a shorter timeframe. The express or rush delivery options imply additional costs due to the resources required to update the report and deliver it in the timeframe selected by the customer.

  • What if I cannot find the report I am looking for?

    Intratec supports companies interested in any manufacturing process not covered in our reports so far. We can provide detailed Production Cost Reports focused on processes defined by you, just submit a request for quotation for a new report at www.intratec.us/services/new-report.

  • Can I talk to the analyst who wrote a report?

    No. Only customers who acquired the Technical Support may clear up doubts via email.

  • If I order a report, will I be able to clear questions I may have?

    Customers interested in clearing eventual doubts relating to a report ordered must also order, for an additional fee, the Technical Support, which enables customers to clear up doubts via email.

    Please note that only customers who also ordered technical support will be allowed to clear questions related to the respective report.

  • Can I share Intratec reports?

    You are able to use and share purchased reports with colleagues within your organization.

    You are not entitled to share the report or its optional analyses with any affiliate company or third parties without prior written consent from Intratec.

  • How can I use the information obtained from Intratec Reports?

    You may, in the course of your business, create your own analyses incorporating, on an individual basis, specific information and/or data presented in Production Cost Reports, provided that: (i) you do not insert entire excerpts and/or portions of the Reports in the analysis created (ii) you acknowledge Intratec as a data source in relation to such analyses created; (iii) you includes the following note in the analyses created:

  • Can I purchase just a section of a report?

    Please keep in mind that Intratec business is about offering professional, structured reports at very cost-effective prices. Indeed, while our reports can be ordered for less than USD 500, the few similar reports in the market are sold at significantly higher values - we are talking about USD 8 - 20 thousand. So please kindly note that selling just section of reports is not possible for us.

  • How can I get an invoice/receipt for the reports ordered?

    To download an invoice for your report orders you should follow the steps below:

    1. Login at www.intratec.us with your email and password (top-menu)
    2. Once logged on, you must click on "Your Account" (top-menu)
    3. Click on the button "Your Reports"
    4. Go to the bottom of the page and click on the button "Order History"
    5. Then, you should see a list of all of your report orders on our website, just click on the download link in the invoice column to download the invoice.
  • Do you offer any kind of technical support?

    Customers interested in clearing eventual doubts relating to a report ordered must also order, for an additional fee, the Technical Support. The terms of this support package can be found below:

  • What are Intratec optional analyses and data?

    Intratec offers optional analyses and data that can be purchased along with each report, and complement the analysis provided in the report (e.g. Economic Analyses for Different Capacities, Process Unit Cost Breakdown, Plant Capital Investment Analysis in a Selected Country, Utilities Consumption Breakdown, Process Flow Diagrams & Equipment List).

    Optional analyses and data are perfect tools for those needing more comprehensive and in-depth techno-economic analysis of the process covered in the report.

  • Where can I check optional analyses and data available for a report?

    You can check optional analyses and data available for each report on the respective report page, under the tab ‘Optional Analyses, Extra Files & Support’.

  • How are optional analyses delivered?

    Optional analyses may be delivered in the following formats: as online viewable reports or as downloadable digital files (PDF or Excel files). The delivery format will be the same format of the respective report, selected during the report purchase when the report is added to the cart.

    After Intratec team updates an optional ordered, it is made available either for online access or for download in a private area at Intratec website.

  • Can I purchase just the optional analyses, but not the related report?

    Optional analyses were conceived as complements of Intratec reports, providing more detailed cost analyses and/or complementary data. In this context, the content of optional analyses is highly referenced to content of the respective reports. Therefore such analyses can only be purchased with the respective report.

  • If I purchase just a report, can I purchase the optionals related to it later?

Upon payment confirmation, the optionals requested will be updated and delivered.   • What are Intratec Production Cost Reports Subscriptions?

    Production Cost Reports Subscriptions are Intratec's most valued offer: as a subscriber, you will receive 3 up-to-date reports every month, paying just a fraction of the cost! The reports disclose costs of producing basic chemicals and inorganics, plastics, green chemicals, biofuels, and much more!

    In addition to receiving new reports every month, you may also subscribe to get access to Intratec’s archives containing released reports.

  • Which reports will I receive if I subscribe? Can I choose the reports I will receive under a subscription plan?

    You can check the list of upcoming reports under a subscription plan by checking the respective “Reports Subscription Library”. You may also receive the reports already released, which are available for ‘Pro’ or ‘Enterprise’ subscribers that also order "Reports Archive."

    Under any subscription plan, the specific reports to be delivered will be exactly the ones presented in the “Reports Subscription Library”.

  • How the reports will be delivered? Can I download the reports?

    As a subscriber of Intratec reports, you will be able to download the reports as non-printable PDF files. Kindly note that Intratec does not deliver hard-copies of the reports.

  • How can I pay for a Reports subscription?

    We accept payments via Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. Please note that credit cards from outside USA must be enabled for international transactions (in US dollars).

    We also accept wire transfers and local bank transfers.

    In any case, just select the plan of your interest and click on “Subscribe” – you will receive instructions on how to proceed with the payment.

  • Do you offer a monthly subscription?

    We only offer fixed term subscriptions for 1 year.

  • What happens when my subscription expires?

    Once your subscription expires, you will no longer have access to Production Cost Reports – neither the upcoming reports nor the released reports (archive). So we strongly recommend you renew your subscription before its expires, in order to keep access to your reports!

  • When subscribing, I selected the “Reports Archive” – will I have to pay the same fee when renewing my subscription?

    No! For renewing your subscription, you will just pay the fee relating to new reports to be released, as follows:

    • Enterprise Plan: $14,999
  • What is the difference between the Standard, Pro and the Enterprise plans?

    The Pro Plan has all Standard Plan features, plus the following:

  • What is the difference between ‘Upcoming Reports Only’ and ‘Upcoming Reports + Archive’?

    ‘Upcoming Reports Only’ and ‘Upcoming Reports + Archive’ refer to the coverage of the subscription plan.

    When you select ‘Upcoming Reports Only’, you will receive three new reports every month, according to the upcoming issues schedule. You will continue to have access to the reports you received as long as your subscription lasts.

    When you select ‘Upcoming Reports + Archive’, you will receive the same three new reports every month, but you will also get access to ALL 150+ reports ever released by Intratec for subscribers, since 2015! You will continue to have access to all reports from the library as long as your subscription is active.

  • When will I receive reports under a subscription?

    Your active subscription period starts in the subsequent month after payment confirmation, and is valid for the next 12 months. Reports and extra analyses are always delivered in the third week of every month. For those subscribers who also purchase the Archive access is given immediately after the first report delivery.

    The reports are made available for online access on a private area at Intratec website. Subscribers of the Pro and Enterprise Plans will also be able to download reports and extra analyses as PDF files.

  • Do you provide a list of upcoming reports?

    Yes! You can check the list of upcoming reports by checking the “New Issues” in the “Reports Subscription Library”, available at www.intratec.us/production-cost-reports-subscription.

  • Under a subscription, will I receive hard copies of the reports?

    No. As a subscriber of Intratec reports, you will be able to download the reports as non-printable PDF files. Kindly note that Intratec does not deliver hard-copies of the reports.

  • What are the Extra Analyses?

    Extra analyses are additional chapters in each report. With them, you will have even more in-depth techno-economic analyses of chemical production processes!

    Please note that only subscribers to the Pro and Enterprise plans will receive reports with extra analyses.

  • Do you offer any kind of technical support?

  • Where does the data presented in the Indexes & Pricing Data come from?

    The data presented in our Indexes & Pricing Databases are primarily drawn from public sources. This information is checked across several sources to verify and ensure integrity. If necessary, Intratec adjusts published data, for example, by reconciling trade data reported by exporting and importing countries.

  • How often is the data I subscribed for refreshed? When is such data updated?

    Data presented in our Indexes & Pricing Databases is refreshed on a monthly basis, as new information is obtained. However, it is important to highlight that the frequency which specific regional data is actually updated depends on how often official sources from countries from those regions report that data.

    In this context, by the end of each month - typically in the second or third week -, Intratec team updates Indexes & Pricing Data with data of the previous month.

  • Can I share the data I subscribed for?

    The subscriber of a Standard Plan may, in the course of its business, use Indexes & Pricing Data internally only. In this context, disclosing/sharing of any raw data from Indexes & Pricing Data with third-parties is not allowed for Standard Plan subscribers.

    On the other hand, the subscriber of a Pro Plan may disclose/share Indexes & Pricing Data with third parties (person or group), provided that (i) the subscriber discloses/shares Indexes & Pricing Data with up to three third parties; and (ii) the subscriber acknowledges Intratec as a data source. Furthermore; any data from Indexes & Pricing Data must be treated as confidential information by the third party receiving the data from the subscriber, in such a way that under no circumstances the receiving party will disclose/share the data received. .

  • What is the time span covered in the Indexes & Pricing Data?

    Typically, our Indexes & Pricing Data cover data since the year 2007 to present. However the Plant Construction Index covers data since the year 2000 to present.

  • Do you provide price forecasts? For all chemical commodities listed?

    Yes, price forecasts are available, but only for specific chemicals, in specific countries. On the page of each chemical pricing data, in the respective chart description, it is informed whether or not price forecasts are presented for that chemical.

  • How are price forecasts calculated?

    The forecast prices presented are based on estimates made by Intratec. Such estimates are derived from correlations with forecasts for (i) prices of main raw materials employed in the production of the chemical; (ii) main products manufactured from the chemical; and/or (iii) official industry/economic indexes.

  • I noticed that price forecasts changed from one month to the other. Why?

    Please note that price forecasts presented in Intratec’s Chemical Pricing Data are meant to reflect what Intratec considers the most probable scenario for the upcoming nine months, as of the date such forecasts are updated. Put another way, the forecasts presented resulted from specific, ’frozen’ market conditions at the moment they were calculated. In this context, as the market parameters used for calculating the forecasts can change significantly in short periods of time, the forecasts are also updated on a monthly basis.

  • How often are prices forecasts updated?

    Forecasts presented in our Indexes & Pricing Data are refreshed on a monthly basis.

  • I have just subscribed, but cannot access price forecasts of the chemical/utility covered in my plan - why?

    That is because you have subscribed for a 'Standard' plan. Please note that only subscribers of 'Pro' plans have access to forecast data and are able to download data as Excel, CSV and PNG files.

  • I have just subscribed, but cannot export pricing data into Excel - why?

    That is because you have subscribed for a 'Standard' plan. Please note that only subscribers of 'Pro' plans have access to forecast data and are able to download data as Excel, CSV and PNG files.

  • If I subscribe to any of Intratec's plans, how will I access the data I subscribed for? Will you send me reports?

    Subscribers access the data they have subscribed for through online charts presented at the respective chemical/utility/index page, at Intratec website. Naturally, the subscriber must be logged in Intratec website (using the same email and password of the subscription) to access the data.

    In this context, Intratec does not send reports about Indexes & Pricing Data.

  • Do you offer full trial subscriptions, for free?

    It is worth to highlight that anyone interested Indexes & Pricing Data can check plenty of free samples (our Free Plan gives access to a 12-month Historical data series), and also that Intratec offers very cost-effective subscription plans.

    So, considering the above, we believe that anyone interested in Indexes & Pricing Data is able to decide whether or not to subscribe, in such a way that full trials of Indexes & Pricing Data are not available for free.

  • Where can I check if you provide forecasts for the chemical/utility I am interested in?

    On the page of each chemical/utility pricing data, in the respective chart description, it is informed whether or not price forecasts are presented for that chemical/utility.

  • Can I subscribe for accessing only price forecasts of a chemical/utility?

    Please keep in mind that only subscribers of the full access plan can access price forecasts.

    For customers needing specific price forecasts not covered in our Chemical Pricing Data, we offer Ask for Prices, Markets & Industrial Plants Data.

  • Do you offer samples of forecast data?

    Please keep in mind that anyone interested in Indexes & Pricing Data can already check plenty of free samples, our 'Free' Plans include a 12-month Historical data series, and that forecast data will be presented in the same format (online chart at the chemical/utility page).

    So, such free samples should be enough for supporting a decision of whether or not to subscribe.

  • Can I acquire just part of the data from one of Indexes & Pricing Data subscription plans? How much would it cost?

    Intratec offers very cost-effective subscription plans, designed not only for professionals interested in having a reliable source of chemical commodities and process utilities pricing data, but also users needing to learn prices of a specific chemical or utility. In this context, we do not offer fractions of any Indexes & Pricing Data subscription plans.

    No, you can not. We offer no Chemicals Pricing Data / Utilities Cost Data subscription plans for a single chemical or utility from our database. You may check our available subscription plans, in the page of the chemical/utility of your interest.

  • Can I upgrade my Subscription Plan?

    Yes! You can easily upgrade your current plan by following the steps below:

    4. Locate your current plan and click on "Upgrade"

    Our customers are entitled to cancel subscription plans at any time, whenever they want. To cancel a subscription, you should follow the steps below:

    1. Login at www.intratec.us with your email and password (top-menu)
    2. Once logged on, you must click on "Your Account" (top-menu)
    3. Click on the button "Your Data"
    4. Click on the button "Subscription Management"
    5. Then, you should see a list of all of your subscriptions on our website, just click on the cancel link of the plan you are willing to cancel.

    Intratec team proceeds with the cancellation within 2 business days. Upon cancellation, an email will be sent confirming that the recurring billing is interrupted. Please note that refunds related to Intratec Indexes & Pricing Data subscriptions are NOT provided.

  • What happens if I cancel my subscription?

    You will continue to have access to the data of your subscription plan until the end of your current billing period.

  • I can no longer see the pricing data of a chemical in a specific region...why?

    As previously mentioned, the data presented in our Indexes & Pricing Databases is primarily drawn from public sources, and is checked across several sources to verify and ensure integrity. Occasionally a specific public source stops reporting part of the data collected, or inconsistencies in the data are identified, in such a way that Intratec team deems appropriate to discontinue a specific pricing data series.

    Please rest assured that, whenever this happens, Intratec team makes every effort to compensate users for such discontinuation, by adding either new pricing data series related to different regions or pricing data of more commodity chemicals.

  • I am interested in getting pricing data of a chemical/utility, but it is not covered in your subscription plans - what should I do?

    If you cannot find the pricing data of your interest in our store (at www.intratec.us/indexes-and-pricing-data/chemicals-pricing-data-store), you may submit the request form available at www.intratec.us/services/chemical-industry-data. In this case, our experts may work to provide exactly the data you need. They will provide you with a quotation for this service in no more than 2 business days. Of course, since this is a customized data analysis, not available in our regular database, this quotation shall be higher than our regular subscription fees.

  • I Purchased the Enterprise Plan, how can I add the other accounts to my subscription ?

    As a subscriber to one of our Enterprise Plans you are entitled to add up to 2 additional accounts to your subscription with no additional costs. Just follow the steps below:

    1. Make sure that all the users you want to add to your subscription already have an account at our website, if not they must create one, for free, at www.intratec.us/register.
    2. Send an email (using the email address registered at our website) to our support team informing us the email addresses of the accounts that you want to add to your subscription. We kindly ask you to use the following subject "Enterprise Plan - Request to Add Accounts to My Subscription"
    3. Our support team will process your request in no more than 3 business days. Once is request is processed, our team will send you an email confirming that the accounts now have access to your subscription while it is active.
  • Do you offer any kind of technical support?

    Yes - Intratec stands behind the reports it sells! If a customer is not satisfied with the type / volume of information presented in a report, it can ask for refund (See our Refund Policy).

    Please note, however, that our Refund Policy is not applicable to our Indexes & Pricing Data subscriptions, since Indexes & Pricing Data content can be previously checked through the available samples.

  • Do you offer discounts? What if I purchase more than one report?

    The only discount offered by Intratec is based on the purchase volume. We offer a 5% discount in purchases of reports from the Reports Store above USD 6,000; a 7.5% discount on purchases above USD 18,000; and a 10% discount on purchases above USD 54,000. Purchases of Intratec reports and analyses with discounts are conducted as follows:

  • Why are you charging this USD 199 Payment Service Fee?

    This is a fee Intratec charges when our customers pay via bank transfer. Kindly note that, when it comes to bank transfers, banks processing the transaction deduct charges directly from the amount being transferred, in such a way that the Intratec receives an amount that is lessened by those fees. In addition, the processing/identification of payments via bank transfer demands additional time/resources from our sales team. That is why this USD 199 is charged.

  • How do I get an invoice or a receipt for my purchases?

    For purchases related to Indexes & Pricing Data, after a successful purchase you will receive an automatic email from our payment gateway with a receipt.

    If you need to add any extra information to your invoice you should fill out the field "Provide us with any additional information you might need to be included in your Invoice" available during reports purchase.

    The user accounts on our website have a concurrent/simultaneous login limit. Once you login to our website in one computer or browser you will only be able to log in using this same account in another computer or browser after logging out.
