About Polyether. Polyether is a class of organic substances produced by polymerized monomers by ether links which may be structured in chain or network. It is a diverse group of polymers most notably polyethylene glycols, polypropylene glycols, epoxy resins and phenoxy resins.
Commercial Grades. Resin grade; commercial grade; LCP grade; molding grade; flame-retardant
Uses. Electrical insulation; automotive applications; adhesives; polymer additive; coatings; production of industrial apparatus (conveyor belts, hoses, tubing, etc); oil well drilling equipment
- Glycerin + propylene oxide + acrylic acid (epoxidation, followed by ester formation)
- Epichlorohydrin elastomers (slurry process, using aluminum based catalyst)
- Trimethylpropane + ethylene oxide + ammonia (epoxidation, followed by ammonization)
