Titanium Tetrachloride is a colorless to pale yellow liquid widely produced as an intermediate chemical during manufacturing of titanium dioxide via chloride process. The uses of TiCl4 are increasing, being used in most titanium metal production, as well as catalysts, pearlescent pigments, certain plastics and films. Titanium tetrachloride is not found naturally in the environment and its production is carried out from the chlorination of titanium-containing minerals such as rutile and ilmenite.
Intratec offers professional, easy-to-understand reports examining Titanium Tetrachloride production costs. Each study describes an industrial plant, including main process units and site infrastructure, and presents an independent analysis of capital and operating costs. All reports are based on the most recent economic data available (Q4 2022).
