Tanespimycin Cost of Production | Q2 2024
Updated Reports Examining Tanespimycin Manufacturing Costs
Intratec offers professional, easy-to-understand Commodity Cost of Production reports analyzing the costs of Tanespimycin manufacturing processes. Each report describes an industrial plant based on a specific Tanespimycin process. The report also presents an independent analysis of the costs of Tanespimycin production, encompassing plant capital costs (capex) and plant operating costs (opex). All reports are based on the most recent economic data available (Q2 2024).
Tanespimycin Production
This report presents the economics of the production of Tanespimycin production from corn in the United States, via a typical fermentation process. Initially, corn starch is converted to glucose by alpha amylase. The glucose generated is then fermented to geldanamycin. Finally, geldanamycin is converted to Tanespimycin.

This report analyses the economics of a Magnesium Sulfate production process from magnesium carbonate and sulfuric acid in the United States. In this process, magnesium carbonate is treated with sulfuric acid, yielding magnesium sulfate,
Details: 150 kta United States-based plant | Q2 2024 | 107 pages From $999 USD
The cost analyses presented in the report Magnesium Sulfate E11A target a 150 kta (kilometric tons per annum) United States-based plant. For those interested in cost analyses considering other plant capacities and/or locations, Intratec offers a customized analysis as an optional feature.
Paracetamol Production from p-Nitrochlorobenzene
This report analyses the economics of Paracetamol production from 4-nitrochlorobenzene and acetic anhydride in the United States. In the process, 4-nitrochlorobenzene reacts with sodium hydroxide producing para nitro phenol (PNP). The PNP is then subjected to reduction, producing para amino phenol (PAP). The PAP is then acetylated to produce Paracetamol.

The cost analyses presented in the report Paracetamol E11A target a 20 kta (kilometric tons per annum) United States-based plant. For those interested in cost analyses considering other plant capacities and/or locations, Intratec offers a customized analysis as an optional feature.
Feed-Grade Riboflavin Production
This report presents the economics of feed-grade Riboflavin production via a typical direct fermentation process using glucose as carbon source in the United States. In the process examined, Riboflavin is produced by fermentation of a glucose syrup. After fermentation, the broth is pasteurized for the inactivation of the microorganisms, Riboflavin is recovered by centrifugation, subjected to a mineral acid treatment, dried and packed. The final product obtained is 96 wt% Riboflavin (feed-grade).
Details: 1 kta United States-based plant | Q2 2024 | 108 pages From $1,999 USD

About Tanespimycin. Tanespimycin is a water-soluble benzoquinone antineoplastic antibiotic. It acts as an inhibitor of Hsp90, a heat shock protein that plays a central role in promoting the functionality and stability of a group of proteins associated with cancer. Tanespimycin is a derivative of geldanamycin, an antibiotic that is being studied in the treatment of cancer and patients with certain types of leukemia or solid tumors, especially kidney tumors.
Intratec Methodology. Intratec distilled its expertise, gained from more than a decade of supporting companies worldwide in the analysis of commodities markets and process economics, and developed a consistent report development methodology.
The methodology ensures a holistic, coherent, and consistent techno-economic evaluation, guiding the development of a report that allows readers to fully understand a specific process technology for the production of a commodity. In addition to being based on a common methodology, all Intratec reports that approach industrial processes have a common structure, i.e., indexes, tables and charts share similar standards. This ensures that Intratec’s readers know upfront what they will get and, more than that, will be able to compare technologies addressed in different reports.
Our methodology is continuously tested and proven by the many corporations involved with the commodities sector, R&D centers, EPC companies, financial institutions and government agencies that rely on our reports.
