Nitrile Gloves Production Costs - Q2 2023
Nitrile Gloves Operating Costs & Plants Capital Investment
Rubber Gloves are a very popular equipment for hand protection across a wide range of industries, including healthcare, food processing and services, automotive, and chemical industries. Such gloves have been historically produced from natural rubber latex, a material of easy use by the manufacturers, and exhibit excellent tear strength and tensile strength, among other performance properties.
Intratec offers professional, easy-to-understand reports examining Nitrile Gloves production costs. Each study describes an industrial plant, including main process units and site infrastructure, and presents an independent analysis of capital and operating costs. All reports are based on the most recent economic data available (Q2 2023).
Nitrile Gloves Production
This report presents the economics of Nitrile Gloves production from nitrile butadiene rubber (NBR) latex. In this process, hand-shaped formers are dipped in a bath of NBR latex. The latex is deposited on the former, which subsequently enters a curing oven where it is submitted to high temperatures to be cured. The gloves are then dipped in a polymer dispersion bath to apply a coating, cooled and, finally, stripped out of the formers. The economic analysis performed assumes a plant located in the United States.
