n-Butyl Acrylate, or Butyl Acrylate, is an organic chemical used in the manufacture of acrylic polymers and polyethylene. It is also used in the formulation of paints, sealants, cleaning products, adhesives, amphoteric surfactants, aqueous resins, antioxidant agents, elastomers and dispersions for textiles and papers. Butyl Acrylate is mainly produced from ester grade acrylic acid and n-butanol via a esterification reaction.
Intratec offers professional, easy-to-understand reports examining Butyl Acrylate production. Each study describes an industrial plant, including main process units and site infrastructure, and presents an independent analysis of capital and operating costs. All reports are based on the most recent economic data available (2018/19).
